Deck Of The Week: Vim's Defiance

When the Grendel invasion of the Crossroads began, one man stood in the way of North's conquest. Vim is the champion gladiator of the Crossroads arena. Vim knows that the best defense is a good offense and has an uncanny knack for getting the right card at the right time to solve any problem

As with any aggro deck, the key to this team's success is getting ahead of your opponent's defense curve as quickly as possible and inflicting the maximum amount of damage in the early game. The key to doing this is Bukkit's Adrenal Boosters.

Adrenal Boosters can launch Dribble from an early game threat into a mid-game terror. In addition, it can actually let Bukkit apply pressure as well. Use a grow action or a card like Min Max to maximize Bukkit's Mean score then keep your opponent on their back foot with his Adreanal Boosted Damage. Once you get between 7 and 9 Mean, Bukkit's utility is going to drop off (Especially if your enemy has found a way to destroy Adrenal Boosters). Don't get too attached, throw him under an attack or finish him off using Bukkit's Boom to allow Dribble and Skulldozer to maintain the pressure that this deck needs to win. (The Betwixt can be a brutal place.)
